Keto Pizza – Best I’ve Tasted!

I used to eat pizza like crazy before I started keto. I am so glad I can still eat pizza and put all my favorite toppings!

Preheat oven to 350F.

Let’s make the dough first!

PIZZA DOUGH Ingredients:
10 oz Mozzarella
5 oz Almond flour
1 egg
1 tsp baking powder

I prefer shredding my own mozzarella cheese so I bought two blocks of 6 oz package and shredded it then put it in my kitchen scale. I find it more accurate in baking rather than using cups.

Put the 10 oz shredded mozzarella in the microwaveable bowl and microwave it for 30 seconds. Stir it. Put it back in the microwave for another 30 seconds. Mix it well.

Melted Mozzarella

In the food processor or mixing bowl (it’s going to be a workout 😂) add melted mozzarella and egg then mix well. Add almond flour and baking powder and mix really well. Again if you’re doing this by hand, it’s going to be a workout 💪. I don’t have time to play around in the kitchen so I use a food processor.

Take the dough out and form a ball. Wet your hands if it’s too hard to handle. Divide it 4 times equally if you want a smaller pizza which I prefer.

Here’s what I did. I used a smaller plate and put a parchment paper on top then put the dough and put another parchment paper on top of the dough then flattened the dough with a can of beans. Yes, I used a can to flatten the dough. It’s actually pretty easy.

Then slowly peel the top parchment paper.

You may fix the edges if you like. Here’s what mine looks like.

Put them in the preheated oven and cook it for 10 minutes 350F. Take it out and put your favorite keto toppings!

KETO PIZZA TOPPINGS:
This is the part where you can get creative!
Here’s what I used on my keto pizza.
1 cup RAOS’S Homemade Tomato Herb Sauce (I bought this at Publix)
3 oz Mild Italian Sausage (I cooked it in the skillet first)
2 oz black olives
2 oz green peppers
2 oz Sweet Vidalia Onions
4 slices of bacon (cooked and crumbled)
5 oz Shredded Mozzarella cheese.

First, you put 1/4 cup of Rao’s sauce on top followed by shredded mozzarella cheese then the toppings and lastly more shredded cheese!

Heat the oven to 400F and cook the pizza for 8 to 10 minutes.

Let it cool and enjoy!
