Crispy Chicken Tenders - Keto Low Carb Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1-lb chicken tenderloins boneless skinless
  • Olive Oil for frying
  • DRY COATING INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 TBSP Psyllium Husk Powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 cup Almond Flour
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Black Pepper
  • 1/2 tbsp paprika
  • WET BATTER INGREDIENTS:
  • 1/2 tsp Xantham Gum
  • 1/4 cup Almond Flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  • Heat enough oil for deep frying chicken over medium-high heat.
  • In a bowl, add 1 TBSP Psyllium Husk Powder,1/2 tsp dried oregano,1/2 cup Almond Flour,1 tsp Salt,1/2 tsp garlic powder,1/2 tsp Ground Black Pepper,1/2 tbsp paprika. Mix well.
  • In another bowl, add 1/2 tsp Xantham Gum,1/4 cup Almond Flour,1/4 tsp salt,1/8 tsp Ground Black Pepper,1 egg, 1/4 cup water. Mix well.
  • Take each piece of chicken, let excess marinade drip off, coat in flour mixture, shake off excess, coat in wet batter, shake off excess, coat in flour mixture, shake off excess and set aside.
  • Place each coated tender into hot oil and fry for 7 minutes until golden brown. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
